WEDDINGS AT ALBAN ABBEYS B&B Over the last three years we have had several weddings at our B&B. Increasingly we have been taking a more active part in assisting in the arrangements.
Now we have formalised the services we offer.
LOCATION: We have had small services in our Parlour, in the Tower Suite, on the deck of the Tower Suite, and at several outdoor locations. (Pics of outdoor locations.)
LICENCE: We can take you to the clerk's office of the Town Hall to obtain a licence. Of course, if you are a resident of Ontario you can obtain a licence in advance in your home tow. It is good for 3 months.
OFFICIANT/CELEBRANT: We have a very good relationship with a celebrant who will perform the ceremony for you. She has excellent ideas about the procedure, various vows etc.
WITNESSES: We can provide witnesses (you need 2) if you are not bringing your own.
COSTS: We charge $250.00 for our services but we apply this to room bill: i.e., we subtract the $250.00 from your your bill. If you book the Tower for 2 days, the cost is $250.00 plus tax ($275.00) for day 1 plus $185.00 plus tax ($203.50) for the room for day 2. THE $250 DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE: IT IS NOT A ROOM DEPOSIT AND THEREFORE IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE ROOM DEPOSIT CANCELLATION POLICY. Two day booking minimum.
